    Raymond was adopted by Thalia (Pernia) and Wilson Timmons. He is biological child of Ethel (Pernia) and George Poupard.

    Raymond Earl Timmons, 77 of Beaverton passed away suddenly on Thursday Jan. 19, 2012

    Raymond was born in Detroit on December 26, 1934, to Wilson and Thaila (Pernia) Timmons. He married Charolotte A. "Maude" Osterhoudt on July 20, 1957, in Portewen, N.Y. She prededed him in death in 2009.

    Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He lived in Gladwin County for the last 33 years previously residing in Detroit and was the owner/operator of the Ranch House Restaurant in Beaverton. He was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church as well as F.O.E. Albright Shores Aerie 3655 in Beaverton.

    Raymond is survived by his daughters, Alicia (Arlie) Russell of Beaverton and Laura Graham also of Beaverton: sons, David Joseph (Renee) Timmons of Gladwin and John (Angie) Timmons of Midland, five grandchildren, brother James Poupard of Monroe, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Charlotte "Maude" Timmons, son, Raymond Timmons; grandson Matthew Herbin; granddaughter, Darian Timmons; brother, Robert Poupard; sister Joann LaDuke, brothers, William Poupard and Donald Poupard.

    In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Paul Metzer on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at 4 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Beaverton. Arrangements made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. Gladwin.
