Willis B. Segur, age 52, of Luna Pier passed away Tuesday night, September 4, 2007, at 11:13 pm in Mercy Memorial Hospital. Born June 7, 1955, he was the son of Nicholas and Meredith (Schmidt) Segur. Mr. Segur worked as a construction contractor. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of VFW Post in Luna Pier, He enjoyed fishing and camping. Mr. Segur will be missed by his mother, Meredith Segur; grandmother, Clara Schmidt; his daughters, Amanda Segur of Hazel Park and Nichole (Clyde) Russell of Hillsdale; siblings, Pam (Zahid) Dada; Dianna (Tim) Steel, Barb Farnell, Theresa (Tim) Starr; Shirley (Gene) McKimmy, Kevin (Beverly), Myron (Judy) and Darlene (Jim) Buehler; 5 grandchildren and long-time friend, Roger Ritchey. He was preceded in death by his Father, Grandfather and 2 brothers. Friends may visit Friday from 11:00 am until time of service 2:00 pm at the Monroe location of Bennett-Prochnow Funeral Home. Pastor Roy Southerland is officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
