General Notes:

IsThomas the father of Elizabeth Murphy? If Thomas is her father, the only evidence I have is in the 1850 census record for Monroe Co. City of Monroe 3rd ward, which was anything north of the River Raisin. The entry was Thomas Murphy and a wife named Jane born in 1826 OH. The children Elizabeth, Samual and James tend to fit in the family names. The age is correct for Elizabeth. No evidence was found in the 1860 census to indicate this was the family. Perhaps the mother died before 1859 and the father and child Elizabeth and Samuel lived with others as they would have been young children. The search goes on.
