    Funeral services for Mrs. Mary B. Beacom, 77, wife of Willis Beacom, Marlette Township, were conducted at two o'clock on Tuesday, January 24, 1967, in the Marsh Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Beacom expired at 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, January 21st. in the Fairlane Nursing Home. Detroit, after a brief illness.

    Mary Stowers, daughter of the late John and Ann Stowers, was born August 14, 1889 in Hinton, Kentucky. After their marriage, the couple came to Michigan and resided on a farm 2 1/2 miles South and 1/2 mile West of Marlette, where her entire married life was spent. She was a teacher and homemaker.

    Surviving are her husband, Willis, now residing in the Fairlane Nursing Home, Detroit; two foster children, Mrs. Lucy Janek and James Fields, both of Detroit, and two nephews, Richard Hayden of Georgetown, Kentucky, and George Hayden of Florida.

    Rev. John E. Larkin conducted the services in Marsh Funeral Chapel. Mrs. John E. Larkin served as organist and Mrs. Ray Clendeman was the vocalist.

    Pallbearers were Messres, Wilbert Turner, Raymond Turner, Wendell McKee, Robert Hagar, ( )Stmac and Fred Prahl.

    Interment was in the Marlette Cemetery.
