    JOHN R. RHEAUME

    John R. Rheaume, a resident of Warren, died in Lapeer Regional Hospital onTuesday, November 17, 1992, at the age of 71 years.

    Mr. Rheaume was born November 12, 1921 in Detroit, the son of Henry and Olive (Chapman) Rheaume. He was united in marriage with Betty Wasnuk on Aug. 12, 1950, in Detroit.

    John was a member of Stoney Creek Church, Shelby Twp. He retired in 1977 after teaching in the Detroit School System for 30 years. He later taught the emotionally impaired youth at Fairlawn Center in Pontiac, retiring in 1991.

    Surviving are his wife, Betty; his sons, Ronald (Mary) of Clinton Twp., Randy (Debbie) of Shelby Twp, and Scott of Warren; two grandchildren, Jessica and Krista; brothers Earl and Henry, both of Dryden, and Richard of Hazal Park; sisters, Mary Steffler of Dryden and Laura Lund of Ohio. John was predeceased by brothers, Leo, Lawrence and Elmer and sister, Evelyn Zinger.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 1992, 11 a.m., at Murphy & Hauss Funeral Directors, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb, with Rev. Randy Rheaume, pastor of Stony Creek Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dryden, Memorials to Stony Creek Church would be appreciated.
