    Clara Belle J. Marsh
    July 16, 1927 - April 1, 2003

    IDA - Services have been set for Clara Belle Janette Marsh, 75, of Ida, who died Tuesday night at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe.

    Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Capaul Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. Saturday at West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church until services at 11. The Rev. Robert Schefter; pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church's cemetery.

    Born July 16, 1927, in Dundee, she was the daughter of Ernest and Louise (Ruehs) White. She married Arnott John Marsh April 2, 1949, at West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church. He died Jan. 28, 1994.

    A member of West Ida Immanuel Lutheran for more than 50 years, she also was a member of its Luther League, Women of the Church, Ladies Aid and Couple's Club. She taught Sunday and Bible school at the church and was a fomer member of Stowell Mother's Club of Dundee.

    Surviving are two sons, John (Nannette) of Waldron and Roger of Ida; two daughters, Sue (Charles) Ridgeway of Union, W. Va., and Linda Specht of Toledo; two sisters, Margaret Mapes of Toledo and Barbara (Junior) Mehan of Clayton; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Melvin.

    Memorials may be made to West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church.
