Mrs. Ernest White

DUNDEE - Mrs. Ernest (Louise) White, 64 of 1420 Gloff Rd., Dundee, died at 2:45 this morning in Bixby Hospital in Adrian. She had been ill seven months.

Friends may call from 7 tonight and until 11 a.m. Wednesday in Capual Funeral Home in Ida. The body will be taken to the West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday to lie in state until services at 2. The Rev. Daniel Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The daughter of Henry and Ida Ruehs, she was born Sept. 6, 1901, in Dundee. She was married to Ernest White June 12, 1920, in the West Ida Church.

Mrs. White was a member of West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Melvin White of Toledo; 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Clara) Marsh of Ida, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Mapes of Toledo and Mrs. Isaiah (Barbara) Mehan of Clayton, Mich.; 2 brothers, Edward and George Ruehs of Dundee; 2 sisters, Mrs. Charles (Regina) Stevens of Grand Blanc, Mich., and Mrs. (Clara) Haney of Dundee, and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a sister and a brother.
