Douglas Segur Dec. 14, 1954-June 8, 2009

Douglas Segur, 54 years, of Bedford Twp. passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He had worked as an assembler for the Jeep Corporation. He was the son of Leonard and Elsie Segur he was born on December 14, 1954 in Toledo Ohio. He had attended Bedford Public Schools. Doug excelled in sports, enjoyed traveling, anything outdoors and especially animals. He is now in a better place with his parents, his brother, Dennis and his favorite girl, Sadie the Border Collie he traveled across the US with. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving children, Chrism Hoisington, Jason Hoover, Levee Segur, Travis Segur, brother David (Sue) Segur, sisters, Debbie (Chuck) Gallagher, Brenda Stadler, grandchildren, DeVante and Terrell Johns and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:30 till 1:30 pm in Bedford Funral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Lucas County Humane Society. The family wishes to thank the Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all their care.
