    In the 1900 census Alfred and Verne Leonard were listed as nephews
    living with William and Cora. They are Cora's brothers. In the 1910
    census, Chloe and Emery Leonard were listed as living with Cora and
    William. Alfred was listed as a hired man for the Armstrong family
    about one mile cross lots from the old farm on Stein Rd.

    Deaths

    Alfred Leonard
    Alfred Leonard aged 49 years died Monday at 11:10 a.m. at Monroe Hospital. He made his home with his niece, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Segur of LaSalle township. Mr. Leonard was taken to the Monroe Hospital last Wednesday and under went an operation there on Saturday.

    He was born in LaSalle and had spent most of his life there or in the vicinity. He was a painter, Mr. Leonard is survived by two sons Emery of Perrysburg; Ohio and Freddie of Toledo; four brothers, Vern and Clifford of Toledo, George of Rossford, Ohio and Nick of Louisiana; two sisters, Mrs. William Pernia of LaSalle and Mrs. P.A. Dustin of Lakewood and two grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Ida Wednesday at 9 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Walter J. Rottach, paster, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery at Ida.
