    OBITUARY

    ERIE - Delbert Wood, 73, of 11755 S. Dixie Highway, Erie, died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday in Toledo Medical College, Toledo. He had been in poor health for several years and seriously ill for three months.

    Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday in Allore Funeral Home, Monroe, where scripture service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home and 2 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie. The Rev. Robert Haener will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    The son of Frank L. and Jennie (Black) Wood, he was born Sept. 30 1902, in Toledo. He married Gladys Pernia on May 9, 1928, in St; Joseph Catholic Church, Ida.

    He was a life-time area resident and retired in 1964 after 42 years with the Consolidated Paper Co., Monroe.

    Surviving are his wife; a half sister, Miss Gertrude Wood of Chicago Ill,. and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services for Delbert Wood, 73 of 11755 S. Dixie Highway, Erie, who died Sunday in the Toledo Medical College, Toledo, were Thursday in Allore Funeral Home, Monroe, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Erie. The Rev. Robert Haener officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery

    Bearers were Leroy Miller, Howard Bohmer, Frank LeRoy, Kenneth Mills, Irving Rauch and Charles Cameron.

    Honorary bearers were Mr. Wood's nieces and nephews.
