  • Born: 2 Jan 1904, 1910 W Stein Rd LaSalle MI
  • Death: 26 Oct 1984, Mercy Hospital Monroe, MI

  • bullet    General Notes:

The birth record is found in the Monroe County Courthouse Book E. Page 250.
Family lore is that her Godmother was Irene Leonard wife of Cora's brother Vern.

Shortly before Glad died she had me bring her to the bank. She wanted to get in her safety deposit box. She pulled out a locket and said, "Do you want this.?" I was taken back. She told me her Godmother Irene gave this to her on her tenth birthday. I have the locket. Glady's middle name may have been Mary as it is scratch in the locket. But she always used the name of May.

Information on the marriage was found in the Monroe paper and her obituary.
