    Malcom McNichol Dead.- An old resident of this locality in the person of
    Malcom McNichol, lot 26, con 4, passed away on Tuesday of last week.
    He had reached the good old age of 82-years and had been a resident of
    Grey over 40 years. He was a highlander and had a great love for his
    native land. Mrs. McNichol and one daughter, (Mrs. J. T. Chapman, Mich.) ,
    and two sons (Donald on the farm and Rory in Vancouver) survive.
    Deceased was a Presbyterian in religion and a Liberal in politics.
    Funeral took place on Thursday to Cranbrook, Rev. D.B. McRae conducting
    the service.

    A visit to the cemetery in Cranbrook found no stone or record for Malcom

    Last Will and Testament
    of
    Malcom McNichol

    This is the last will and testament of Malcom McNichol of the township of Huron and Province of Ontario, farmer made this day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Seven.

    I revoke all former will and other testament, any dispositions by me at anytime here to fare and made declare this only to contain my last will and testament.

    I direct all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid and satisfied by my executers hereafter named as soon as conveniently may be named after my decease. I give and bequeath all my real and personal estate of which I may die possessed in the manner following: That is to say:

    I give and divise my farm being the west half of lot number twenty six in the fourth concession of the township of Grey to my son Donald McNichol subject to the payment of one hundred dollars by him to my daughter, Annie Chapman, wife of James Chapman to be paid to her within four years after my decease. All residue bequeath unto my wife Margaret McNichol.

    And I nominate and appoint Jame Lindsay and Malcom McNichol Junior both of the township of Grey in the county of Huron, farmers to be Executers of this my last will and tesament.

    Elmer J. Chapman found information which appears to be Malcom in Scotland. This has not been confirmed... But will add it just in case. Information under parents of this Malcom.

    Research referance was made to a blue and black Donald. They were refered to as cousins to Malcom. Both resided in Canada.
