    Shirley G. Wylie, 75, of Monroe, a former employee for 20 1/2 years of the Monroe Auto Equiptment Co., (MAECO), died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday in her home. She had been in poor health since last August.

    Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. Dr. David Campbell, chaplain at Mercy Memorial Hospital, will officiate and burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Parkl, LaSalle.

    Born Aug. 14, 1921, in Monrioe, she was the daughter of Arthur and Grace F. (White) Chapman. She married Frank L. Wylie on April 1, 1975, in Monroe.

    In addition to her employment at MAECO, she also worked at Reisig Laundry in Monroe and retired in 1987.

    A 1940 graduate of Monroe High School, she was a member of the Friends of the Library, Monroe County Historical Society, Monroe Senior Citizens and First United Methodist Church in Monroe. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and crossword puzzles.

    In additon to her husband at home, she is survived by two brothers, Arthur E. Chapman of Monroe and Herbert J. Chapman of Adrian and Las Vegas, Nev., and one sister Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Zimmerman of Ida.

    She was preceded in death by one brother, Alyce E. Chapman.

    Memorials may be made to Mercy Memorial Hospice.
